School of Engineering and the Built Environment



The School of Engineering and the Built Environment at Napier University is one of Scotland’s largest providers of education for professionals within the built environment, encompassing the areas of construction and property. The needs of the construction and property professionals are reflected in the academic profile of the school. Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes have been designed to meet the needs of employers, yet provide an educational base that is sufficiently flexible to allow maximum career opportunities in an ever changing world.

Property courses
Current programmes offered under the partnership agreement are approved and recognised by RICS as providing approved qualifications which give entry to the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) membership requirements of RICS.

The MSc programmes are designed to build upon professional qualifications and seek to equip
professionals with higher management skills.

The MBA programme is offered in collaboration with Napier University’s Business School and caters for the needs of managers in the property sector.
